Bruschetta
Making fresh Bruschetta is just about as easy to make as it is to go to the grocery store and just buy a container of it. We obviously prefer to just make it at home. It is so much more fresh and you control the taste by adding extra or reducing the amount of ingredients. Pair it with a fresh baguette sliced right before you intend on eating it or crispy bread slices ….. AMAZING!
Ingredients
5 Roma Tomatoes, chopped
1/4-1/2 Red Onion, finely chopped
1/2 Cup fresh Basil, chopped
5 Cloves of Garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1-2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Optional)
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and allow to sit in the fridge for a minimum 2 hours before serving. As I mentioned, serve with a freshly sliced baguette and let the drooling begin!
