Classic Donair Poutine
What do you do when you are approaching Canada Day and you have leftover Donair sauce and meat? That’s right you take the opportunity to make a Donair Poutine!
Serving Size: 2 Poutines
Ingredients
1/2 Bag Cavendish Extra Crispy Frozen Fries, cooked as per packaging
1 Cup Leftover Donair Meat (we always cook our with our new DONAIR SEASONING)
3/4 Cup Donair Sweet Sauce
3/4 Cup Cheese Curds
1/2 Cup Banana Peppers or Pickled onions
1 Roma Tomato, chopped
Fresh Parsley
Directions
Remove cheese curds from fridge while the fries are still cooking to help them get closer to room temperature.
Lay fully cooked fries out in a bowl then cover with desired amount of cheese curds.
Drizzle with lots of gravy to help melt the cheese curds. Set aside to allow the cheese to melt further.
Top with meat, banana peppers, onions and tomato. Drizzle with sweet sauce and sprinkle with salt/pepper!
