Classic Donair Poutine

What do you do when you are approaching Canada Day and you have leftover Donair sauce and meat? That’s right you take the opportunity to make a Donair Poutine!

Serving Size: 2 Poutines

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Bag Cavendish Extra Crispy Frozen Fries, cooked as per packaging

  • 1 Cup Leftover Donair Meat (we always cook our with our new DONAIR SEASONING)

  • 3/4 Cup Donair Sweet Sauce

  • 3/4 Cup Cheese Curds

  • 1/2 Cup Banana Peppers or Pickled onions

  • 1 Roma Tomato, chopped

  • Fresh Parsley

Directions

  • Remove cheese curds from fridge while the fries are still cooking to help them get closer to room temperature.

  • Lay fully cooked fries out in a bowl then cover with desired amount of cheese curds.

  • Drizzle with lots of gravy to help melt the cheese curds. Set aside to allow the cheese to melt further.

  • Top with meat, banana peppers, onions and tomato. Drizzle with sweet sauce and sprinkle with salt/pepper!
