Easy Apple Pie

The easiest Apple Pie EVER! I used a pre-made crust because even though I have a great recipe for a homemade one …. let’s be honest … ain’t nobody got time for that!

Serving Size: 1 Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 Package Pillsbury Pie Crust (with 2 crusts in it)

  • 5-6 Large Apples, sliced

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Tsp. JamDinners Cinna Blend

  • 1 Egg for egg wash

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 400F degrees. In a large bowl combine the sugar, cinnamon and apples, mix well. Fill a 9inch round baking pan with the 1 crust pressed tightly to the bottom and sides of the pan then top with the apple mix.

  • Cover with the other pie crust and secure the edges. Feel free to use a utensil to create a cool crust design. Using a knife, lightly cut lines into the top pie crust to allow for hot air release. Or do strips like we did for a nice look - just dont mess up the pattern like I did too *insert crying face*.

  • Bake pie for 45 minutes or until apples are properly cooked. Around the 30 minute mark, remove pie from the oven and brush with egg wash then put back in the oven to bake for another 15 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!

  • Whip up an easy apple crisp too because why not!
